What we store
Your account email, the display name and profile details you enter, your nutrition targets, your meals and meal items, and any meal photos you choose to upload.
Meal photos
Photos are stored in private storage. They are readable only by your own account through short-lived signed links. Images are compressed in your browser before upload and re-encoded, which removes embedded location and camera metadata. You can delete an individual photo at any time, or turn photo retention off in your profile so photos are removed after analysis.
AI analysis
To estimate nutrition we send the meal image and/or description, plus a minimal summary of your goals and dietary preferences, to an AI provider through our secure server. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers. Your meals are never used to personalize anyone else's results.
Your controls
You can edit or delete any meal, export your full history as JSON, delete individual photos, and delete your account together with its data from the Profile page.
Not medical advice
DENutrition provides estimates for general information only. Dietary cholesterol measured in food is not a blood test result and is unrelated to LDL, HDL, total blood cholesterol, or triglycerides. Talk to a healthcare professional about personal targets.
